Now name five women artists. From history to even now, those in the minority have had their voices stripped, stolen, altered, and/or discredited. 

 

With this series, I hold onto my own voice and feminine-centric narrative and look to these women artists as my mentors. I have cited their names in the titles of these works to acknowledge their influence. I researched their backgrounds and looked into their practice of techniques and concepts.
